Although located along the busy International Drive corridor, this 28-acre resort features natural buffers, such as palm trees and flowering gardens, to absorb the noise. A five-story, sky-lit lobby is paneled in raw wood and includes seating areas amid palm trees, flower gardens, parrots and Indonesian-style ceiling fans. The Sheraton World Resort features three heated swimming pools, including one with a rock waterfall, two children's pools, and a 12-person hot tub. The Sheraton World Resort is a family-friendly option, with a host of amenities and exceptional convenience to SeaWorld and other Orlando attractions. Other complimentary recreational facilities include miniature golf and a sand playground. High- speed Internet access is also available. Dining options include the Blue Marlin Grill, a deli, and poolside bar. The Sheraton World Resort is located just a half-mile walk from SeaWorld and five blocks from Orlando's convention center. An onsite health-and-beauty spa offers massage, body wraps and scrubs, facials, waxing, and hair and nail care. The Sheraton World Resort offers 1,103 guest rooms in a 17-story tower and 19 two- and three-story buildings. The decor features cream- colored walls and light-colored wood furniture.
